Fair, clear, for everyone
These terms govern your use of RockfordGO's ride and delivery service. Last updated September 25, 2026.
By creating an account, booking a ride, or driving with RockfordGO, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to everyone who uses RockfordGO: riders, drivers, and visitors to our website.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current. Riders verify their identity with a mobile phone number. Drivers must submit the required documents (license, registration, insurance) and be approved by RockfordGO before accepting trips.
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. Notify us immediately at support@rockfordgo.com if you believe someone else is using it. We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information, violate these terms, or abuse the service.
When you book a ride, the fare is calculated from the rates set for your zone and vehicle category, including any surge, minimum fare, or promotional pricing shown to you before you confirm. Distances are measured in miles.
We accept payment by card, cash, or wallet balance. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we may adjust the charge after a trip if the route, waiting time, or cancellation rules change the final fare. Cash trips are paid to the driver directly, and the driver's platform commission is settled through their account.
If a card payment fails, we may retry it and restrict new bookings until the balance is settled. Disputed charges should be raised with us first so we can review the trip record.
You may cancel a ride at any time before your driver arrives. A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel after the driver has started traveling toward you, or if you do not appear at the pickup location. These fees compensate drivers for their time and are shown in the app when applicable.
If a driver cancels after accepting, you will be re-matched with the next available driver and will not be charged for the cancelled leg.
Please treat drivers and their vehicles with respect. Damaging a vehicle, harassing or endangering anyone, or carrying prohibited or illegal items may result in immediate account suspension and charges for cleaning or repair costs.
You are responsible for the behavior of anyone traveling with you.
Drivers must hold a valid license and insurance, keep their vehicle in safe and legal condition, complete trips as accepted, and charge only the fare shown in the app. Drivers may not decline trips based on a rider's protected characteristics or solicit payment outside the app.
Accepting a trip creates an obligation to complete it. Repeated late arrivals, cancellations, or safety issues affect a driver's standing in the platform.
We work hard to keep RockfordGO available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Rides depend on the availability of nearby drivers, and coverage may be limited at times or in certain zones.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
RockfordGO connects riders with independent drivers. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of their vehicles and the conduct of their trips, subject to local transportation laws.
To the extent permitted by law, RockfordGO is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the trip giving rise to the claim.
If you have a problem with a trip, payment, or another user, contact us first at support@rockfordgo.com or (815) 200-9604 — most issues are resolved quickly with the trip record in front of us. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date below. Your continued use of RockfordGO after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
